Founded in 1947, the Bimson family business became firmly established in the haulage industry during the late 1960s and early 1970s. Over the decades, the company has grown from a regional haulier into a leading national construction logistics specialist, providing contracted delivery services to some of the UK’s largest construction materials manufacturers, including major brick producers. This success has been driven by a consistent focus on customer service, reliability, and competitive pricing within a demanding industry, helping the business achieve significant growth—from £1m turnover in 2007 to £33m in 2026.

In 2024, Bimson entered an exciting new phase, becoming proudly employee-owned through an Employee Ownership Trust. This transition not only reinforces long-term stability for customers and suppliers but also empowers employees to share in the company’s future success. With this strong foundation, Bimson is well positioned to continue its expansion across the UK construction sector and beyond, with a clear commitment to service excellence and sustainable growth.
