Our History
The Bimson family have been in business since 1947 and became established in the haulage industry in the 1970’s. This family business that has experienced an annual turnover growth from £1m in 2007 to £31m in 2025. The company has evolved from regional haulier, to the national construction logistics specialist to all three of the UK’s largest brick manufacturers. This growth has been a result of continued emphasis on customer service and reliability, whilst being price competitive in a demanding industry.
In 2024 an exciting new chapter began as the Bimson business became proudly employee owned through an Employee Ownership Trust. Employees sharing in the ownership of the business provides the opportunity for future employee profit share and it gives customers and suppliers reassurance of the Bimson Team’s commitment to the business and its long term ownership stability.
